The boots are good quality, though the leather is similar to those issued by the military for recruits, somewhat lizard scale like, which is fine by me, and I don't need to have them parade ready, lol. The fit is good, true to size, although I've inserted gel soles in them, applied waterproofing polish to the leather and welts, and sprayed the suede like tongue with a fabric waterproofing agent. The supplied laces are a more than adequate length for lacing GP style, and seem a decent quality. Overall, I am very happy with the product, and wearing them now, and most of today. Thank you.
