EMR “Digital Flora” Camo
Uniform Camouflage Coloring (EMR), also known as Digital Flora, is the ultimate ally in green terrain. It provides visual protection for anyone wearing it while lying on the grass, or retreating into forest vegetation. It is best suited for temperate climates with medium to high density vegetation.
THE RUSSIAN DIGITAL FLORA CAMOUFLAGE
This new emr camo pattern was introduced in 2018 in Russia. The impetus for its development came from the American pattern Marpat. This new color pattern replaced the old VSR-98 camouflage commonly known as “Flora”. It is with the help of this new camouflage that a complete re-equipment of the Russian army was planned for 2011, but it will not be and we will see soldiers in different camouflages for many years to come.
Initially, the camouflage was launched in Barnaul Melanzhist Altai JSC under the name “ZDU”, meaning “Protection to the End”.
The digital flora pattern, colors and dyes were developed in Moscow in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense. It should be noted that the fabric is not visible in night vision devices and does not glow. It meets all the standards of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

What countries use EMR/Digital Flora camo?
This camouflage was built by Russian engineers according to the needs of their army. Today they use it officially in all the regular army, including the special paratrooper forces (they use a variant; a reversible two-tone uniform).
