Could not be happier with the quality of the NPO. I had looked around at King Arms and LCT AS Val airsoft replicas but knew I had to get the authentic Russian-made NPO. It does not disappoint. The finish is really nice on everything and it feels authentic, even the polymer grips. Assembly was relatively easy (it came disassembled to the US). Kula has excellent customer service and I could not recommend them enough.

The rifle is everything I ever hoped it to be: it looks amazing, feels good in the hands and it works really well. Kula Tactical customer service is also great and quick to respond to your questions!
My only complaints are that the instruction booklet has some weirdly stylised photos that are hard to make out, the pistol grip had a small piece of plastic broken off when it arrived and the hop-up adjustment requires a small screwdriver or other long tool to adjust.

I recently bought an AS VAL completed with 450 fps spring. It was 437 fps out of the box, which is a great margin for safety purposes. Very good on the shooting test, although I had to work a little bit on the hop-up. The steel inspire confidence, although the plastic seams to be robust. Anyway, it’s really a nice rifle.
