The Universal Modular Transport and Combat System (UMTBS) vest base is a commercial version of the 6Sh112 vest base. It is a piece of combat equipment designed for transportation of individual combat and marching outfit. It is equipped with a modular attachment system that allows the placement of removable pouches from the UTBS kit or any other pouches that have a modular attachment system compatible with the UTBS system (MOLLE, PALS).

– Consists of two breastplates with shoulder pads and dorsal lintel, and a dorsal plate, the waistplates are connected to each other by a sling.

– In order to improve the heat and air exchange the central part of the vest base plates is made of synthetic mesh.
– In the waist and shoulder parts of the vest base there are soft cushioning inserts.
